These procedures are general procedures which have been written
to drive the calibrators and DMMs
supported by ProCal.
Procedures written for electrical test equipment are designed
for use with the Transmille 2100 Electrical
Test Equipment Calibrator. These can be modified to be
used without a 2100 by converting the test types used to GENERAL,
providing manual entry of recorded values.
Because of the wide range of reference instruments supported
by ProCal, some procedures may need to be modified
to use certain calibrators / DMMs / References (for example
if your calibrator does not provide 10Amps output or your
clamp coil is not 50 Turns etc.). It should be noted that
the required reference standards need to be available for
a procedure to be used (e.g. a decade resistance box will
need a DMM supported by ProCal in order to be used). Due
to these reasons you should always verify that the procedure
meets your requirements, system capabilities and system setup
(including Interface settings, Reference / Traceable instruments,
Uncertainity Statements etc.) before use.

It may also be necessary to add or delete tests as required
using ProEdit. As such, the procedures provided should
be considered basic calibration procedures which are to
the best of our knowledge correct. As instrument specifications
are subject to change, no guarantee can be given as to the
suitability of a procedure for a given purpose.
The procedures are configured to use the DEFAULT uncertainty
statements where available. If the uncertainty statements
of your system do not match, it will be necessary to set
the correct uncertainty statements using ProEdit.
