Monday, 21 April 2008
Transmille Ltd is proud to announce it has won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2008, considered to be the most prestigious UK award for business performance. The award recognises the continuous development and manufacture of its innovative range of multi product and electrical test equipment calibrators and integrated hardware & software calibration systems.
Transmille’s commitment to innovation is underlined by the introduction of its range of ‘expandable’ calibrators which offer the capability to extend the functionality of its range of calibrators. This unique range of external adapters provides a cost effective and extensible range of measurement tools for laboratories and service centres.
The award also recognises the depth of product development and manufacture to include the smaller, more portable products including the industry award winning electricians test box allowing electricians to verify their own test equipment and the first battery powered portable appliance tester to offer testing currents to 25 amps.
Transmille’s managing director James Bailey commented,
“The award is an important milestone in the development of Transmille’s product portfolio, notably our advanced range of calibrators. This award demonstrates Transmille’s commitment to offering customers a real alternative for precision calibration products, maximising calibration and service centre capabilities.”

The Queen’s Award for Enterprise
The Queen’s Awards for businesses honour outstanding companies. The Awards are made in three separate categories: International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development. Awards in the Innovation category recognise a broad spectrum of outstanding achievement.
