Seaward Electronic have invested in the latest calibrators and software from Transmille - the specialists in calibration equipment. The automated test systems provide efficient test and calibration whilst ensuring the accuracy and performance of Seaward instruments.

Instruments tested by this new automated test / calibration system have to pass each test of a procedure developed by Seaward engineers to fully exercise each function. Procedures can be up to several hundred tests long, which test, adjust and then verify the instrument's performance. Results for all tests are stored.

Traceability of calibration to National Standards is via the UKAS calibration of the Transmille calibrators. Seaward can provide calibration certificates for both new instruments and instruments returned for service.
